Courtesy Light Bulbs.........

I post my questions here because I suppose this is standard over all the Mini models. I want to replace the interior bulbs with LED and I am looking for the following info:

How do you remove the overhead control bezel to have access to the bulbs? I also want to replace the foot well bulbs without breaking anything but didn't found any information.

Hi, not sure if this is what you're looking for.

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ulb-types.html

Google "r56 Ziza Interior Lighting Package Installation Procedures" and check out the pdf.

You'll probably need some trim removal too as well, search on Amazon or ebay.

Thanks for your reply. I already bought a trim removal kit and I replaced all the remaining bulbs. The overhead dome and reading lights bezel is different on the Coupe and Roadster models but I found the info how to remove it. This is a big improvement in how the interior looks with LED bulbs and it's really worth it. The cost is about $100 for Ultra Bright Zevo Sylvania bulbs and they are lifetime warranty.

Trim tool:

Here is the R58/R59 interior Ziza LED kit : https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ziza-par...t/r58r59ledkt/

Here is the PDF for the kit( i have it in my R58.

http://bd8ba3c866c8cbc330ab-7b26c6f3...ts_R58_R59.pdf

This is the trim tool kits that we used and helps. They are on sale right now also as well as our tested and run Ziza LED kit.

Those tools are also great for removing door panels and trim on the interior and as well as exterior as they help reduce the chance of damage.

Thanks for your reply. You LED bulb kit seems to be a good deal but I already bought the Zevo Ultra Bright Sylvania. Also last week, I bought the exact same tool kit at Harbor Freight for $8.00. Check your supplier on this.

Is it possible to replace the backup light bulb on Coupe with LED?

You can, but might need resistors and/or coding out.

I didn't found any info about this bulb on Realoem and never looked at the unit so I am just guessing what it may be. Can you post a picture of the OEM bulb to see how different it is from a H8 ?

Ok, its been tested and works great, sorry for the delay. Its here:

JCW Bumper Rear back up LED light conversion

The factory filament bulb is a wedge T10 base thats a little fatter in the round glass then a typical wedge bulb.
