Not sure if anyone else experienced this, both sides had only half the LEDs working after install (after about 2 weeks running them(. Thought it was strange so I took them both out and the side that was not lit up had one of the small flat transistors missing. I found them both inside the light housing and was able to solder them back. They work fine now. If anyone from ECS Tuning is reading this, you might want to look into this. Otherwise great product!

 

Ecs replaced mine (for $7.95 shipping) for the same issue under warranty. I got a new set from Amazon for $14.95. They have a heat sink sandwiched between the 2 banks of led bulbs.

 

I have the Ziza lights from ESC and after a month they throw an "outside light out" warning light every time i drive now, a bit annoying but I love how they look when i walk up them in the parking lot haha

 

Same thing happened to me. ECS never replied to my pm or the other post on here. How long is the warranty on these? I am still driving with only half LED lit.

 

They have recently updated the Leds for those from Ziza for the position LED, you can PM me if you have a an issue and we can take care of it. Or contact our customer service team and they can help you. customerservice@ecstuning.com

67morris - did not get a PM from you lately, when did you send it ? Did you get a auto response my inbox might have been full.

Backcountry - should not have a bulb out error, they are canbus, maybe the contact is not secure. Shoot me a PM.

 

It was a few months ago. I have been driving like that for maybe a year now Can I still get it replaced? Mine had only one side affected.

I've had four or five sets of these lights go bad in the same exact manner as described by the OP. This is across three MINIs and included replacement bulbs sent by ECS. I eventually said screw it and went somewhere else.

However, if Ziza has in fact changed the quality/construction of the bulbs I might give them another look as ECS does have great customer service. However I also have ordered a set of fog light bulbs in the "Platinum White" 7500K temperature to match a different set of LED position lights, and their 7500K temperature didn't look any different from the 6000K "Super White" bulbs I had in another car.

 

Update. they no longer work as before. Thought I fixed it, must be a manufacturing issue! ECS please advise!

Bought these from ECS and I installed them on my car in January. Yesterday I started getting a lamp malfunction error. Went outside to look at the light and half of it is out
