Where can i buy a replacement filter for a DOS v1 intake? K&N or any comparable brand pls. May I know the part#?

Also, did afe made the DOS dry filters available through them or did it go away with clint?

May I ask why you need a filter? Did you damage the filter you have? These filters can last 1,000,000 miles, they just need to be cleaned. But to your main questions I can't answer them, I have 2 filters and probably will not wear these out.

A cleaned & carefully oiled filter will be just as good as a new one. As long as you dont get too crazy with your re-oiling then you'll be good. I've never had any issues when cleaning my oiled filters. There's no decernable difference in power so that shouldn't matter when deciding between oil or dry.

Anyone had issues with the oil possibly
getting sucked towards the intake and
having oil collect on the MAF sensor
resulting in a malfunctioning sensor
and thus needing replacement?

I believe this happened to my Audi TT
with an oiled K & N and was wondering if it occurs in the MINI world.

I also have the DoS (just got a JCW)
So I am hoping/wondering if all the
DoS CAI use long life cleanable
filters.

Because I have no idea how or where to
get paper cone filters, if applicable, that would fit in since the company is now defunct.

As for MAF sensors, yes that does happen. But it only happens with an improperly oiled filter. You don't really see brand new filters with too much oil, but I being a nervous person, still bad the filter a little bit to be sure.

As for your DoS intake, yes they are all lifelong filter. Just need cleaned every ~50k depending on your local atmospheric conditions.

Check out Amsoil dry air filters. You might need to check the exact measurements to get a universal fitment. Good luck and it shouldn't be difficult.

Got mine NIB from eBay for cheap... seller did not know what to do with it. Shipped price is less than $6. Point is, they're out there.
