So what are the weight savings from ditching the OEM interior ?
Why Hankook Evo2 tires - those are good budget tires for the street, but you should be on at least RS3's for the track?

Weight savings with removing the stock front seat is about 150 pounds. We tested the Evo2s on the track, they did well so we have been using them on all the dual purpose cars.
