Can't find PCV Vent Hose anywhere including dealer

Hi guys, I needed to change out my throttle body on my 2007 Mini Cooper non-s hatchback. That went well except for I broke the crankcase vent hose pipe. The vent hose attaches between the intake manifold and valve cover. On the intake manifold side it looks like there is a sensor.

I looked at various parts websites and can't seem to find the exact hose with the sensor. Everybody is pointing me to buy a part without the sensor, including my dealer! My dealer showed me a picture of a different looking intake manifold than mine and he consulted the mechanics and they said it is the hose I need, even though the hose does not have the sensor.

Attached are two pictures of my actual broken hose, that I mended with electrical tape for now until I can find a proper replacement.

Also attached is a diagram of where the hose connects to (via the red square), and a ebay picture of the intake manifold with the hose I am looking for.

Thanks in advance, it would be awesome if somebody can tell me the part number and/or where I can purchase this online.

Yea I looked there too, and also noticed the "metal" part is round instead of having that flat side like mine.

I wonder if they revised the part and it is no longer squared like yours. The dealer couldn't find it either? I've called the Portland mini dealer and they've sent parts to me, I just gave them the last 7 of my vin and told them what I was looking for.

Looks like the intake is from a junk yard by the yellow lettering. Maybe it's not a 2007 intake and that's causing the problem.

I may do that, it seems my dealer is staffed with people that don't give a crap.

This could be the issue too.

Thread mine! I've just broken the PCV pipe while re-inserting the inlet manifold into my Mini (2008 R56 Cooper N12). It's cold here (not much above freezing) and the pipe is very brittle. Anyway, I need a new one but it doesn't look like any I can see online. Both ends have the same press release plastic fitting but no plug and no metal. Is the one above linked to by @ECSTuning still the right one?

I'm so close to finishing the job of having the head off to be rebuilt after haing no compression on cyl 4 (all new valve stem oil seals and valve lifters - all four lifters on cyl 4 had collapsed). I had all but one nut done up on the manifold but pressed too hard on the pipe to access to it.

Thats the correct one for your year/model. If you have cold climate version or low compression engine for the euro cars.

Can i have the last 7 of your vin. There is a 11157555261 which is a euro part only we don't carry. But i think thats for ones that are hot climate euro. Its the same, just does not have the plug for the heater.

Thanks @ECS Tuning :-) It's very different at the PCV valve end. Do we just ignore the plug on top?

The VIN is TT19835. I'm in Australia so mostly have to deal with heat but we're at 600m altitude and its snowing nearby!

Our inlet manifold looks like the one in the photo at the top of thread. Quite different to the one on RealOEM https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=11_3915

Yep, thats realoem is just an example, not always the exact sometimes. Thats the part # 11157555261 (see pic below), which i bet is the one you have stock on you car right now (we don't carry it), its the same as 11157612996, just does not have that sensor set up for cold climate, most of where MINIs are in Australia can get hot, so my guess is there are not too many cold climate MINIs down there.

I would maybe get the euro part local and then if you need anything else I am here.

Thanks again. And yes that's the one one our car. It will be over $100 from the local Mini dealer (bitter experience...) I found this one on ebay for US40 including shipping, so might go with that. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-BMW...-/202093446942

Ok, did not know it was that much local. If you get the other one, it might confuse the next owner, like "whats this non hooked up plug do?".

Thanks and glad to help. Have a great day from the other side of the world.

Better order one and then go to bed! Thanks for the help. And the parts we ordered from you a couple of weeks ago got here really quickly :-) I hope the engine is OK when we start it!
