Mine has been completely removed since late 2010, and AM / FM reception is still fine. And I live in the boondocks, with a mountain range between me and the big city. If you really want a replacement, I'll sell you my old one, if the '07 version will work in your '11.

On second thought... I may be interested in your orig antenna. Can't seem to find the orig length for my 2011 to get a replacement. I don't really care to modify from the orig length. Can you let me know what length yours was, and if it is the same that goes to mine, I may grab it! I'll call the dealer tomorrow and see what I can find out. Just want what ever goes to it. Thanks!

Pulled up the antenna part number on RealOEM and found 4 different ones. Two are "ended" 65203450762 & 65753422340, one doesn't match my options 65203451575, and one has no option list so it's probably the one I have 65203453893.
Note the length is 16" and it has the "spiral" effect.
I used a die to measure the threads --- 6mm dia and 1.00 pitch. It's possible yours is different --- something for you to check. Threads weren't altered with the die.
I tried looking up the antenna part number for a 2011cooper hatchback, but RealOEM wants more info --- I couldn't access any of the charts without more info. I suggest you look it up and then decide whether or not you want to try my antenna.
Are you sure you really need an antenna? It's only required if you have more than AM / FM reception.

Yeah... without the antenna I have noticed a decrease in some of the channels. I'll have to check with the dealer and see which part number they say I need. I'm wondering if it even matters to be honest. All I have in my 2011 is am and FM radio but then I do have hands-free Bluetooth for your phone. I know what you mean, as I read some of the descriptions for some of the antennas come up it was a little confusing, some of them said you can't use them if you have navigation or preparation for cell phone which I really didn't understand? I'm not sure if they were talking about Bluetooth or something newer that may be on the new cars. Anyways I will try and check with the dealer and get back to you. Do you have any idea what you would want for it plus the postage to Nashville 37206. Anyways I will get back to you and see if this antenna will work on my car. I'm pretty sure the threads are the same 6 mm. Thanks again!
