True but not the follow ups. Side note, did my notes help you get the dimmer wire done up?

They did, it all works, just need to spend sometime fine tuning the kit. I'm loving the low IAT's at full boost
Thanks for your hep

Excellent. I'll be following your advice and hints when it comes time to install my system this summer.

The Aquamist kit seems kinda impressive at first, but it comes with everything and is the most plug/play system designed for our Mini's

BTW, why do all my picture post grainy now. I haven't changed my APP settings.

A little on edge is putting it mildly! He seems a bit dramatic and canceling his membership which he didn't follow through with, highly unpredictable and very hostile.

Actually there is no problem at all. I was simply trying to avoid exactly what happened by stating I'll PM someone's name and mr Mario decided to take it where I chose not to so I just asked a question. By looking at the photos posted it was clearly obvious that was his exact point as I asked him. Then two others feel offended. If your offende by someone asking questions,
OH WELL

What do you think about cooling mist? Had their kit for my sti, good stuff. Iwonder if it's just as easy plug and play like Aquamist?

I have had 3 CoolingMist before, and they work well, but they were not quite and integrated as the Aquamist, or the gauge. What ever kit you choose, it will work and the number to hit is 500cc/min.

Sorry, back on Topic
I'm not a fan of the functionality of the spacer, but it does look badass

I think that's the biggest question. No one seems to have a conclusive answer.

There changing the intake runner length correct ? On a pressurized system lengthening the runner does not have and affect on the engine like a naturally aspirated engine does.

Hope that article helps ya.

Basically, yes. That's what it would be about. Every motor requires different length intake runners for a given rpm range. The basic rule of thumb is
short runner for top end.
Long runner bottom end
Big cc ports for higher rpm
Smaller cc ports for low rpm.
Cubic or liters plays a role in size. To big, it's a wide open engine. To small, never get to max rpm and make good power.
My question to the developer would be, how did you come up with this motor needs this length runner ?
Now make it a pressurized system, all that changes. Pressurized wants better flow design port and bigger valves so more cfm can be moved. Not length.

Is it possible that by adding the spacer, it "smoothes" out the airflow coming from the manifold into the head?

On a mechanical fuel injection, SBC, the general rule is every 2 inches when tuning the intake.
I'm willing to bet, after building that motor of mine for the second time ground up, after seeing BMW's design/engineering. It's pretty damn close as it is. Unless your gonna increase the high rpm range by 2000 rpm, I seriously doubt that spacer alone will make a difference if any. Like Mario said. Increase boost by .01.

Thank you for providing the information. I admit when I first saw the spacer, I was hoping for something new and worth while, but it's looking to be neither good or bad
