yes sir , We have been working with Nick at Manic on putting this kit together. This is the prototype system so it may be a little bit before we see it up for sale but it is happening.

Dyno numbers coming soon after i get the correct nozzles. Center 2 are mock up at the moment.
Ya know I had a similar idea to use the spacer the same way. However I couldn't get pasted all the conflicting info about directly spaying into each cylinder vs farther back in the intake system on our cars. Do you mind explaining the idea concept behind your idea?

No concept. Direct injection is the safest method of delivering water/meth into an intake that is only designed to flow air. If you ever get a chance to pull an intake manifold on the N14 you will see more carbon build up on the #3 and #4 cylinders. This is due to uneven flow of oil vapor through the intake manifold. This uneven flow would apply to a mist of water meth the same.

I'm in, let's make this happen. From what I see it's all about purchasing said spacer, shipping to said fabricator, mock up a direct port delivery system and Bam!

Would we need a new tune from Manic, or is Map C meant for this type of set up?

How are the cylinder numbered? Is it #1-#4 from right to left? Sorry for the newbie question.

Use a star socket (found one at Lowe's). If you're careful you can use a 5 or 5.5 mm socket.

Still waiting for someone else to try this with an AEM CAI. Not feeling too guinea piggish myself.

Me either. I feel like the thing is going to push up into the hood scoop unit.

I can't see how it would work with the AEM intake. The airbox is moved up and back so I'd imagine that the scoop part would not align correctly.

That being said, I've decided to keep mine and reinstall as soon as I can find a DOS intake....anyone have one that they want to sell?

Sweat, looks very promising and the engine will thank you it. It seems to flow very evenly between runners.

You think the spacer could be sliced half it thickness to a half and inch? For W/M only of course, some will have trouble fitting the full 1" inch spacer depending on what CAI they run.

Making some other sizes could be a possibility. Since we could not possibly test fit with all possible intakes, we are looking to hear feedback on which do or don't require the hose spacer and if there are any that just will not work. If it turns out there are

Of course, I am happy to refund anyone who discovers that their intake is not compatible and cannot use their Koala because of it!

Gotta some way to fasten that air box for the AEM systems. Can't wait til euro sends a pm about one for sale. It'll be bought and I'll figure out the air box later. Can't be that hard to make work if you have any kind of fab skills and ability and tools to do it.
IM IN A GROUP BUY IF IT COMES UP. if not, I'm still in. Screw it.
