Shhhhh
This is kinda secret.........
But when your @ the dealer.........ask them, they know, but they'll play koi.
But slide by the SA's and MA's and go directly to the Tech's.
Don't tell this to just anyone, it's not really something everyone knows!

Not sure if you're being coy yourself or not...lol.

Anyhow, I'd be interested in a breakdown of what year shift ***** fit what year cars myself. A small search didn't turn up any results that were helpful in this regard, but I may just not be searching properly.

Looks like it's part number 25117641999

Right down the part number and take it to the parts dept, they can say if they have it in stock and you can take a look at it to see if it'll fit your shifter.

ECSTuning can order it too.

If you choose a 2011 MCS(R56) and that part number into the ECS parts site , it
indicates that that part does not fit that MINI. Then again, it also said it didn't fit
a 2014 MCS F56, so something might not be right there.

Easiest way to go about it is to go the dealer, give them the part number, then look at it and compare it with an R56 shift ****. If the attachment is the same (slotted), then it should fit.

You can try, but it's very unlikely they keep it in stock. If they order it, you may have to pay for it up front.

Looking at the cravenspeed F56 short shifter and the fact that people are putting R56 whalen shift ***** on their F56, I'm pretty sure the F56 **** will fit the R56.

The only question is whether the shift boot will attach to the shift **** perfectly, but there's only one way to find out.

Yea the boots look a little different. At least the snap ring. Post up pics if you get the R56 **** installed on the F56.

We added more shift ***** to the F56 section.

Step 1: get a service loaner
Step 2: yank the shift **** off and take a look

Just go take a test drive.

"Accidentally" yank it off like in the review videos.

"Ooops... hmm, I just happen to have an R56 **** here with me..."
