I too have the alta CAI and I LOVE IT, it sounds like a jet fan and a sucking wound on crack! Be cautious, it seems the rattling from their mount (some say)can cause the hard plastic inlet tube to crack and disconnect, I recommend a new inlet pipe some time down the road. Alta makes some high quality products and have some great customer service!

And your right, i knew the boost discharge sound was gonna be loud but the actually spoiling sound is amazing! I love it!

The Bentley manual has not be specifically updated for the N18, but most things are nearly the same.
Now that my down pipe has arrived, gonna install that, and then I'm torn between what to do next. H&R sport cup suspension, and rear sway bar? Or BBS Style 5 rims and tires first?

Does anyone have the H&R sport cup suspension? Would you be so kind to post a photo of the drop? I'm debating between that, or the NM turbo back/Alta turbo back exhaust with my next bonus check!
So the second cat removal, got you the sound you wanted? Did you leave the resonator alone?

yes I think so, I think cutting the resonator will definitely make it louder, but not a clean loud, might be too much
Have you played with the sports button? The exhaust should pop a lot more when letting of the gas
