OCC w/ Forge Intake Tube

I am looking to add an Oil Catch Can to my 08 MCS. I currently have the Forge intake tube as pictured below. The Forge tube relocates the PCV hose as compared to the OEM tube. My question is would anyone have experience with installing and OCC such as the BSH or M7 with this specific Forge or even the identical Samco hose? Maybe a different mounting location could work? or do I have nothing to worry about?

I wouldn't waste your hard earned money on an OCC kit, they don't catch enough oil to make a difference. It will trap oil in your intercooler and all of the tubing leading to your intake manifold, that is what you don't catch in your OCC. Problem is your oil still makes its way to your intake valves! OCC is pointless on the R56 Cooper S's!

All you will have to do is use different length hoses.

I wouldnt recommend running the hose like in the picture. That hose goes right over the turbo and exhaust manifold. Rubber hose and super hot turbo, recipe for disaster.

The fact that you saw the hose and wanted to rig it to work shows either 1) engineer mindset 2) you had money to blow

I am an engineer, hoping the OCC will reduce expenses down the road. I am going to see if I can find some decent 90 degree adaptors to shorten the plumbing. That particular intake may simply be too much trouble to integrate with an OCC.
