Tire recommendations

Run-flats are about shot and I will need new tires this summer.... THANK GOD! I can't stand the run-flats so I'm looking for a good all-season tire (I don't swap wheels for winter driving) that will handle WAY better than these damn run-flats (I feel like a round rock would be a better ride).

Recommendations? Also, placed to buy them?

Michelin Pilot A/S 3's have great reviews.

Price at Tire Rack...compare...

I'll probably go with these next time.

Tirebuyer.com has a better deal on these as it's free shipping vs not free shipping on tirerack. Just gotta decided on a tire over next few weeks.

i was gonna suggest the conti DW (no s) if you're looking for a good summer/wet driving tire.

If you live where you get enough snow for it to stick on the ground for an appreciable time, get dedicated snow tires. Not only are they much grippier and safer in the white stuff than any multi-season tire can be, but they also allow you to get better (more fun!) tires for the rest of the year.

Yes, it's a pain swapping rims twice a year. But it's worth it...

I have Continental DWS and I love them, they are comfortable, quiet, great on wet pavement and fair in snow, with all of the snow that we had so far here in NY I would say that hey do a very decent job.

DWS for me. I had them on my Mercedes and now I have them on my MCS with 38,000 miles under their belts and they still have A LOT of life left. I've rotated from from to back (wearing is a bit uneven on my lowered suspension) and haven't skipped a beat.

I will probably never go with another tire again unless for some reason they don't make the size I'm looking for.

The stock is 195 but I'll probably do the 205 this time around since it really opens up my options over the 195.

Going against the flow as usual. I'm happy with My Goodyear Eagle GT tires. Very good in wet and dry conditions, and when it snows. . . . . well, I drive the Suburban, so can't tell you how they work in that situation.

I will always recommend the Pilot Sport A/S 3s. I have had these on for 10-15K miles and you'd swear they were brand new looking at the tread depth. Oh and the road holding ability in the dry rivals almost every high performance summer tire I've ever driven on (not an ultra performance tire like the Pilot SS or Star Specs etc., but a small step below these).
