They were laying on the ground in the living room and she sat in one of them. I tried leaning them on the wall instead and she still went inside. lol

Cute cat, I saw a cat up for adoption yesterday that I would have taken home if I didn't have a large iguana free roaming around the house.

I'm surprised you haven't installed your new red anodized centers yet! Oh just out of curiosity what are your F/R Ohlins set at?

I'm so busy at work starting the day early and not getting out until 9-10pm that things take a while to get done. My wife has some time and takes things for me to get done, and the barrels was one of them. It'll be another 3-4 weeks before I eventually get these put together and mounted.

More money thrown at the MINI!

Giomic Roll Center Adjusters and Giomic Bump Adjust Tierod-Ends ordered!

It'll probably be another month, month and a half before they arrive since they're special order from Japan, so we'll see.

Partly yes. Giomic updated their website so it was harder to find them, but back a few yrs ago it was easier to find. If you know what those items do, you really don't need a translation though. I can't think of anyone that makes these either, so this will help the overall suspension that much more in reducing stress up front.

There's an app for that I use on my international BBM Blog ("Mini Cooper Gearheads") called "Translate". Simply copy/paste and it automatically translates from any language to any language (English) of your choice.

Yeah. I'm not slammed by all means, but I've been slammed and lowered enough where I really should get these. I might as well tighten up and finish more of the suspension anyways.

The Ohlins are going for top dollar over there ($2825! I like how to tie rod ends are a sealed unit rather than open, even have carbon fiber fender arches. The TK-square Suspension Systems complete with sealed tie rod ends looks very high-end along with the high-end price $3754, to bad we'll never know how well they perform. The shipping is scary!

Talk to Mastermind NA. They can order it and I wasn't hit with a massive shipping fee. It still cost me just under $1k for those small suspension bits, but everything I've put into this MINI has been expensive one way or another as they've been all on the higher-end side of things....

Keep us updated when you get them installed. I'm curious to see if you can feel the difference with the roll center adjusters. From what I understand you should see a potential increase in your cornering speeds, correct?

Will do! Yes more corner speed!

Pixels. I am excited to share this since I worked on this and the F56 MINI's actually looked really cool when I saw this. My editor at one point was like "You have a MINI, why don't you record me some of your exhaust noises so we can use that as temp audio". At the time, I didn't have time to record my exhaust note, but either way, they looked great and the FX on this film are really badass. Look out for it this summer!

Redid a lot of wiring for my digital dash. LCU-ONE power rewired to tap into add a circuit while dash is now fed power from ECM. Cleaned up a bunch of wires that were bugging me.

Tried to install oil pan but hit a snag there. More to report when I have time...

No major update, but this was a huge one for me. Welded bung into oil pan was finally good to go. It took 3 shop and 2 oil pans, but that's a whole 'nother story.

Enjoy.

It took exactly 1 month to get here from Japan. Not bad of a wait!

Alignment performed yesterday and having taken the MINI out on a drive to work this morning, I must say that the Giomic bits have reduced body roll. I honestly feel like I'm more flat going into corners as my center of gravity has been brought down with the roll center adjusters and the tie rod ends should give me that bit more of an advantage at the track now.

It can be a tough pill to swallow at $1100 installed, but for me, worth it since the last thing left on the MINI at this point is engine rebuild. So far, I'm a believer.
