Could the 'squeal' be the diverter valve opening up to relieve the boost pressure? It is more of a whistle that decays. At high RPM and high load, the turbo is flowing a bunch of air. When the throttle is closed, the excess flow goes through a diverter valve to bleed off the pressure.

Does this sound like a good description of what you hear? I'm not sure about the noise at idle, though.

Did it squeal from time to time or continuously..my car only does it after a spirited drive and am pretty sure it is not the belt

Mine only squealed from time to time at idle when the pump was bad. Didn't necessarily seem to coincide with particularly hard driving, but did seem to coincide with fairly long periods of high load (ac on, driving up a hill, etc.). There are some videos of bad pump sounds here that you can use for comparison: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...l-at-idle.html

It's a gamble. There's know way too know if or when it may leak! Mine sqealed within a week of replacement. Dealer did the work under warranty & did it again, under warranty. No issues since.

Hummm.. well knowing you replaced those items it makes me wonder if it is even a belt squealing.. If it is the belt still squealing..it is possible your belt tensioner has lost some of its tension! thus your belt would slip on occasion.. Does it sound like the squealing is coming from that side of the car? The belt area?

Yep, I would check the tensioner and the friction wheel to determine the squeak , if the belt and pump are ok. If you can pull out the wheel well cover on the passenger side and listen through there you might be able to hear it better, then determine the location.

Mechanical Belt Tensioner Part number 11287571015

Here is a side shot of the engine.

Thanks

That sounds quite a bit like what I noticed when my water pump failed. I linked a thread above with a video covering what I was hearing. Here's a direct link to that video:

Were you able to get that sound down near the wheel well ? Were you able to remove the cover and crank the engine over to pin point the squeal?

Thanks
