Cool, the look like they sit back in there pretty nice. I had to remove quite a bit to get my D2S in there.

If you are semi decent with a dremel it's not bad. I just took it slowly and did it in a day that I work off work and just hung out in the driveway with my table and my dogs.

They look nice, what did you secure the projectors to the housing with?

Nice, I take it you went with their Mini H1 Bi-Xenon projectors?

I used the OE projectors for my R53 retrofit. Cutoff isn't quite as crisp, but since I'm running a Morimoto 55 watt ballast, it's quite bright with a 5k bulb.

I have to say, though, my passenger side ballast starts to flicker occasionally on start-up. Goes away after a few seconds, but it is annoying. Of course, this happens after the TRS warranty expires ...

My both side of lights got flicker too. TRS told me it's because the ground wires did not secure correctly.

I will try to switch some ground wires to see if that fix flickering.

I was able to secure the projectors using J-B SteelStik.

it took me almost 7 hours to completed everything. it could be faster if you have a nice cutting drill. I used a $20 ''ebay'' drill and it did slow down my work tho.

I secured mine with the locking nut on the back of the projector. I also dremeled less than the OP did.

The first time I did these I used a smaller shroud, I have a larger one that covers more now.

Did you end up having to use their CAN-bus harness too? The connections on mine were a little loose, but a couple zip-ties fixed it. What bulbs are you running? I have the Morimoto 55 watt bulbs and one of them has already color-shifted a little.

The bad ground issue seems kinda plausible ... I can get mine to stop flickering by turning the steering wheel to cycle the electric power steering pump.

TRS told me there is no difference between 35W and 55W bulbs today.

Did CAN-bus harness fix your flickering issue?

Can you show us a picture of the locking nut on the back please?
