Need information on OEM wheels

Hello folks. Hope you can help me out. I hate starting new threads on things that have probably been covered already, but I searched the web and this site and was not able to find a definitive answer.

My wife has an 09 MCS with aftermarket wheels on it. She hates them and wants to replace them with stock wheels.

I've found these and want to know if they will fit her car:

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/pts/3131312525.html

I don't want her to buy them and find out that they don't fit. I've read on some sites that they should fit, and on others that they might not.

While her car is badged as a JCW, it does not appear to have the JCW brakes because the calipers are not bright red and look like standard sized calipers.

Those wheels should fit her car. They look like the once OEM R83 5-star (Daytona) 16X6.5". You can find them listed first under the 16" OEM wheels here:

http://www.mini2.com/forum/faq.php?faq=faq_wheels_tyres

They were once standard wheels on the MCS, and optional for the MC. Our '06 came with those wheels.

Thanks. I figured out what they were called after I made this thread and found several people have fit them without issues.

Here it is demonstrated to work: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...does-work.html
Just be careful about clearance for wheel balancing weights.

Thanks. Thats the exact page I found after I made this thread. It always happens that right after I've made a thread about something that I find my answer elsewhere.

Sorry for the clutter guys.

Since I've established the wheels fit, what do you think of the asking price?

I have a set of 17" S-lites in good condition. Not perfect, couple minor curb spots, but very good overall - 8/10 is how I rate them.

I would sell them for $150 plus shipping from 95135. I have boxes to ship them. It's probably $80 to ship guessing.

So if you would rather have the 17's this may be a good option.
PM me if interested or txt or call me on 408-391-5381

I don't think she cares one way or the other. She just wants OEM wheels instead of the Konigs that came with it. I'll find a pic of the S-lites and see if she'd prefer those though.

She decided to just go with the 16's. Thanks for the offer though.
