R56 Consensus on Oil Catch Can?
Saikou Michi dual can comes with proper 3/4 (19mm) inlets and outlets and he can also provide same size hose for pretty cheap. You would need four 3/4" nylon couplings (about $10 shipped from USPlastics). Splice your factory hoses and you are done
Such through a 1/2" straw for 10 sec then suck through a 3/4" straw for 10 sec. Which one will you get more from. Your engine is going to suck with the same amount of pressure but your going to get less with the smaller dia hose.
If you have a 2" hose and reduce to 1/2" and then back up to 2". You can only flow as much as the 1/2" section can flow. It's acting like an orffice plate

Thats all well and good, but the previous statement was about pressure drop not volume of air. I probably got stuck on the pressure point and didnt look at the overall picture. I would agree, you will flow more with a larger tube. However I still say you will have higher pressure with a smaller one. Like a garden hose. Make the hose smaller and it sprays farther due to high pressure.
Again, I think I got off point. Pressure in this case doesn't matter as much as having a large enough diameter hose for the gasses to pass through without too much obstruction.

you can run the three port but you would need to block off one of the incoming ports. I’m running the block of plugs on the passenger side and OCC on the driver’s side with no issues.
I installed a BSH oil catch can along with a new valve cover a couple summers ago, this is a summer car at moment.
the BSH can does not have a drop of oil or anything in can? Have not driven a lot of miles but it has been driven.
i think what it needed was the valve cover not so sure about catch can?
installed as instructions.

I get a lot of water and some oil all winter
and just a little water and some oil all
summer with a BSH OCC on the driver side
and the passenger side blocked off.
Much more condensation is trapped in
cooler weather.
