It’s official, Oscar is for sale. If you know anyone that might be interested, please let me know. I’ll offer a $500.00 spiff to anyone that directly refers the buyer. (buyer must tell me you sent him/her)
Funny how u have been crying about a check engine light and as soon as it's
gone the car is for sale. Good luck with the sale. I know how u feel about the
light though. Haveing the same issue.

I’m not sure exactly that was suppose to mean but I assure you the light getting turned off has absolutely nothing to do with me selling Oscar. I quit crying about the check engine light a year ago when RMW refused to do anything about it.
The check engine light was on ONLY when I use the RMW tune. I’ve been running the Alta tune for about a year now.
I decided a few weeks ago to reinstall the RMW tune and see what I could do with the light. Way at Waymotorworks was able to change the ECM so it couldn’t see the light which the RMW tune it was able to see.
The light being on (with the RMW tune) had NOTHING to do with the fact the car is up for sale. I’ve been kicking the idea around for about a year and though I enjoyed Minis on the Dragon, I realized it was time to move on to another project.
So, now the mini has no light on with stock tune, Alta tune or RMW tune. I just wanted to make sure that it was in proper working order before it got sold.
I know how u feel about the
light though. Haveing the same issue.
If you’re having the same problem, either ask RMW to turn it off. (he can do it, whether he will do it is another story) If he won’t/can’t, call Way up at Way Motor Works, he has a work around programming that will remove it.

Ok, I'm certain many will agree with me here. The proper way to get rid of Oscar, is a "Guess how many M&M's are in the jar" contest. However, I'm quite certain one member will disagree with me, so good luck with the sale of a beautiful car.
Man, that is quite an impressive mini. I didnt think the list of mods would ever end.lol. Best of luck. I think who ever ends up taking it home will not be disappointed.
Looks like fun. As I recall, about a year ago you were considering a Cayman to replace Oscar. If it were me, I'd be looking at Caymans or Boxsters before a Z4. Actually, a 993 would be at the top of my short list. Just my preference for P cars.

I actually went and looked at the new 2013 Boxster. Great car, great handling, but too plain for me.
And since I want a convertible, that cuts the Cayman out.
The Z4 is an “M” so hopefully it will look better than a normal Z4. (not to mention power... it’s 333 HP)
How about this porsche for something different. I saw a white one at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix last year and fell in love with the car. So different, and not plain at all:
