Apparently I have CRS!!

I noticed the inside edges of my rear tires are starting to get worn. I rotate on a regular basis but apparently I have too much camber in my alignment.

So I ordered a set of Hotchkiss rear adjustable lower control arms so I could get full adjustment of my camber.

I’m going to Roebling Road tomorrow for the weekend and wanted to have my suspension setup correctly.

At the last minute, my control arms show up and I go to install them...

Guess what? There’s an identical set of Hotchkiss adjustable lower control arms already on my car. Apparently when I was putting it back together during the rebuild, I already replaced them.

What a freakin’ moron.... I guess great news is I just saved a few hundred dollars... the bad news I must be losing my memory.

What an idiot....

How’s that? Do I lose my mind until I just can’t remember that I even made a mistake?

I don’t know what’s wrong with me lately.... Here’s a few things I’ve done.

1) Sold a set of 18” OZ wheels to a fellow member, told them they were in perfect shape cause they were recently powdercoated. Sent them to him only to be embarrassed by seeing photos of them in not perfect condition. Turns out I powdercoated the identical set I have in 17’s.

Really, how do you forget that?

2) A few months ago, I ordered a $25K all aluminum trailer for my UTV’s. I gave them $5K downpayment and the trailer is about done. I’ve had the cash stashed away at home to pay for it. I drove into work with $20K in cash in a banker’s envelope so I could go to the bank and get a cashier’s check.

I was so busy, I forgot about it and dropped my car off for an alignment yesterday. It wasn’t until they called me to tell me the car was done that I realized I left $20 grand in the hatch.

Really, am I freakin’ senile?

3) Yesterday, I had to go into one of those boxes you buy from trucking companies to store stuff. It has a garage door on it and it sits on the side of my bodyshop.

I realized at 5am this morning, I left the door wide *** open with 3 UTV’s inside. Granted, there’s a fence around the building and you can’t see the storage unit unless you go around the side of the building, but seriously??

What the hell is wrong with me? I’ve always been almost obsessive compulsive about things and I feel like such an idiot lately. I know I’m slammed at work and get busy but come on.

I’m leaving to Roebling this morning, I think I’m going to take some plastic arrows with me and lay them on the track so my dumb *** knows which way to go.... the way I’ve been lately, I’ll probably go the wrong way.

I think it is worth a trip up there just to follow you around and see if $100 bills fall out of your pocket, or you just park Oscar and leave the key in him, or you accidentally trade me straight up for him for my pain old MCSa.

Can you take some ginkgo biloba for memory?

Hey OC, replace the upper control arms, that'll take out a little more squidge from the suspension, and you'll be able to change track width at the rear.

Also, I'm not sure about the H-Sport bar, but it might be lighter than the originals. I know my control arms save about half a pound an arm (unsprung weight)

Mark... there is nothing wrong with you. You just need to take a vacation.

+1. Go and relax a bit, and enjoy some free time. You sound like you easily work hard enough to deserve it.

Since you were getting an alignment anyway, just put the new control arms on the top...

Not quite sure when Alzheimer's begins to effect someone. I'm guessing it might be at your age .
Probably have too much going on, a vacation sounds about right, Good luck.
