DIY Brake job?

Anyone know where I can find detailed instructions?

Its not very hard.

1. loosen lug nuts

2. jack up car

3. place jack stand

4. remove wheel

5. remove the two bolts on the back of the caliper to do just pads.

6. to do rotors remove two bolts that hold on the caliper and the two that hold on the pad carrier.

Its really not hard to do at all.. did mine.

Pretty easy job minus the brake bleed. I haven't done mine yet. Waiting till I get ss lines.

I believe one bolt is a 13mm and the other one is a 17mm but its been awhile.

Skip step 5...just do step 6 for doing either the pads or rotors. It is much easier to undo the 2 bolts on the back and just lift everything off the rotor. Plus you don't have to chance getting dirt and/or water into the caliper slides. I have done this many times this way. OBTY, get a small bucket or the like to set the caliper on so you don't stretch the brake line. Also, to do the rotors you will need a Torx (#40?) wrench to take of the retaining screw.

This is for a 1st Gen. Some of the brake hardware is different but the process is the same. Take a look. Has alot of detail and pictures.
