R56 DIY Brake job?
Its not very hard.
1. loosen lug nuts
2. jack up car
3. place jack stand
4. remove wheel
5. remove the two bolts on the back of the caliper to do just pads.
6. to do rotors remove two bolts that hold on the caliper and the two that hold on the pad carrier.
Its really not hard to do at all.. did mine.

This is for a 1st Gen. Some of the brake hardware is different but the process is the same. Take a look. Has alot of detail and pictures.
