Front windshield washer spraying fender?

Hello there, 2010 MC. I have a dealer appointment set mid November, but wondering if I can sort this out myself.

I was driving it last weekend, and when I turn on the front windshield nozzle, I get sprays coming from driver side and hitting the driver window by the exterior mirror.

No fluid hits the windshield and nothing is coming out of the bonnet nozzle.

Any help will be appreciated.

If you open the hood you can follow the sprayer lines to see if something is disconnected or torn.

Yeah I did that first thing, however all looks ok. Then again I don't know what OEM "ok" should look like.

Open the hood and look inside while a friend turns the sprayers on? At least you'll be able to tell exactly where it's coming from or at least narrow it down.

Ok, I will see if a neighbor can help me. Downsides of living alone.

Appreciate it. I will report back.

Not a problem. Let me know if you need one of the engine bay area also. I can take one when I go to lunch.

The spray nozzle might just need to be adjusted. You can usually stick a pin in the nozzle hole and move the nozzle to aim it better.

UPDATE

Hi guys

I think I found the problem. There seems to be the part of the hose that lays over the area of the fender turn signal on the driver side. That hose connects to the one under the bonnet. Mine at the edge, seems to be cut/torn.

I circled in the picture where there is a missing connection/hose.

So I guess thus the windshield fluid all coming out by the fender.

There doesn't seem to be enough hose to re-attach, almost like a chunk is missing.

Question
Is it something that will be covered under warranty by dealer?

If not, can I buy it and how difficult will be the full install?

Appreciate the help.

I don't see why the dealer wouldn't replace that, but then again they could say it's "your fault"

Ok. I have a scheduled maintenance in November, will see if they replace it, if not, what the charge will be.

I am still surprised how its cut/torn at all. I have used it maybe 2 times in the whole time I have owned the car.
