Burnt Blue exhaust tips look

Anyone got em? Please post pics if you have gotten your exhaust done. Thanks!

If it occurs naturally then ok but to add the effect its kinda cheezy IMO.

I have done this it is not hard, i was going to repeat whats in the linked thread, the key is testing! Try it on a spare tip, the heat margin of error is very slim from bronzish to blue* and too much will give you faded blue.

Thanks for the responses guys. And yeah I don't know what Capt_bj was trying to show us, lol. It would be smart to test it on on some spare tips Bigprfed22, great idea. Could we see a shot of yours?

I'll probably end up doing this soon, will post with updates.

Tried to find pics and couldnt find any since they were from my s2000 days. i found one where you can barely see the difference. I went to hot so the tips were a faded blue , did too much heating as well.





You can see the discoloration on the tip but its a little un clear(only pic i could find). I did this 1st time and in 20 minutes. The torch i got from advance auto and i think i definitely rushed it when i could have taken my time.
