So, on my way to Market Days in Chicago, I run into storm which later hit Indianapolis State Fair and cause a lot of damage and lost of lifes.. Here is what I run thru.. painful to watch, and be unable to do anything, since there was no exit near and no overpass.. Just pulled to the side and waited for it to pass..

Thankfully, after inspecting my car today in sun, there is no visible damage as of now.. I will have to make sure once again after car get washed. :/

On LI, NY there was a bad hail storm a few weeks ago (hail the size of tennis *****). Body shops said they got tons of calls for repairs afterwards.

 

That sucks bro, you made the right choice by pulling over though...

If hail hit your car there is damage. You just don't know how to look for it.

I had the same thing happen to me earlier this summer. Likewise, no damage... but WOW was it loud!

i'm 1/2 tempted to keep an old blanket in the boot for just such an occasion. wow!

About blanket.......I was seating in my car while this was happening and totally thought about the same!!!! I know it would look stupid but who would be laughing last then ?

 

I got some tiny roof and bonnet marks a few months back with the hail storms in NY. Stupid hail.

 

DAMN! Now that's a hail. I'm so sorry to hear that. Hail I wrn thru was a size of rain drops. :( this just sucks for u.
