In car Camera from 2010 JCW Autocross

Hi All

Here is a link to my in car camera from my autocross last weekend. It is my third one and I feel that I'm getting better. The car is 100% stock even down to the run flat tires. I was running same times as other mini's including a GP running street prepared with racing tires.

Looks like fun. I think I would get lost at some point on the track.

Nice smooth run. My next autocross is in 2 weeks. Your video helps me span that time.
I'm no expert but I think I've heard that you shouldn't cross your hands. You loose the ability to do some corrections if you get sideways.

It's a factory JCW so gotta be manual I guess. This is autocross... I suppose little need to go out of 2nd gear.

It is a kart track that we use and is located in Medford Oregon about 30 miles North of California on I-5.

No its a manual but the track set up that day I did not need to shift out of second. My first two autocross this year had longer straights and would get in 3rd.

Thanks for the tip I will keep that in mind for next months race. I'm just getting started so any tips are helpful.

Don't wait to start! Start NOW! You don't need that stuff to begin. The best autocross upgrade is the driver. Get in some seat time.
