Begging for help here...

I am at the end of my road here - stuck completely. This request is for info on 2008 Mini Cooper S.
Got a mini after fender bender and almost have it back together. Need help with front electric connectors (pig tails) - some of them are missing but I only need to know what goes where. Please help - if you happen to have pictures that would be even better.

Here is the list connectors in the front - wires color coded.
Driver side:
1. solid brown + black/green
2. solid brown + yellow/brown
3. solid brown + white/blue ---> washer liquid sensor
4. solid brown + solid blue ---> side marker light
5. solid blue + solid yellow + green/yellow
6. black/blue + black/brown

Passenger side:
1. solid brown + yellow/brown
2. solid brown + red/blue
3. solid brown + red/blue (have two of those not sure why)
4. solid brown + while/blue
5. solid brown + solid black ---> side marker light
6. black/brown + black/yellow ---> outside temperature sensor

If anyone can post a picture of where the horns are mounted I would much appreciate. I bought hella supertones so hope someone has done it on a Mini.

Please help as I am out of options.
Thank you in advance.

Can you do us a favor and post a pic of what you have?

When I totalled the mini and put it back together, I had to replae the harness in the rt front. All the brown wires should go to the ground block.

I pulled up on alldata but am not recognizing any of the color wires you are listing.

Post a pic of the harness that you have and tell us what you are actually trying to hook up. (ie. headlamps, turn signals, foglamps, etc, etc)

Also, do you have xenon or non xenon headlights?

Mark

EDIT: Also, if some of your plastic end connections are bad, I have some left from the old harness. I've had to rob a few for repair to other minis but I still have a decent amount.

Thank you so much for replying - I will post the pictures momentarily.
Meanwhile, I have 2008 Mini Cooper S with regular halogen lights. I have 6 pairs of wires with connectors in the front (both passenger and driver). I know there are side markers, fog lights, parking lights, horn (on both sides I am told), windshield washer sensor, and something else.
I will put pics so you know exactly what I am trying to do.

Thank you and will respond soon.

The first pic, the one on the left looks like maybe it is the horn? Why dont you hook a meter to it and try playing around, horn, blinkers, etc to see which get power when you do what. As someone said all the solid browns are ground.

The parts for the actual connectors can be purchased (I have done it). But figuring them out via RealOEM.com is nearly impossible.

I would go buy one of those screwdriver looking things with a light bulb inside the handle. Connect the crocodile clip to the engine, pointy side on the wire end and get someone to honk the horn, hit switches etc, until you eliminate everything. For example when the horn is depressed the light will light up and thus you know what wire it is from. It's pretty basic stuff, but should actually work quite well.
