M7 springs or H-sports?

I recently installed my new wheels...18x7 OZ Superleggaras with 215/35/18 BFG Comp T/A KDW's. I have a set of M7 springs and a H-Sport sway bar ready to go in, but I'm having second thoughts. I'm currently experiencing no rubbing problems..after one week of use. My questions is will they rub once the car is lowered the 1.3" w/ the M7's, and would H-Sports, which would lower the car only .75", make it less likely the set up would rub. The car is definately begging for a stiffer set-up, I've done the pulley/intake/header mods and the added power and lighter wheel/tire combo have made it a little nervous on hard accelarations. I chose the M7's because of the supposed softer ride they offer, however, I wouldn't be opposed to selling them and going the H-sport route. What to do?

I am not sure about the rubbing issue but I have H-sports on mine and love them. I think the drop is perfect and the ride is good. I would def. go that route, the seem to be the spring of choice. Though both the M7 and H-Sports are both progressive so you can't go wrong either way.

M7 springs will look cooler and ride more comfortable.

H-Sport springs will handle better while still looking better than stock.

If you have the Superleggera's that have the 42mm offset, you'll be fine, minimal to no rubbing with those tires. Have fun!

Yeah, Ryephile's exactly right. I've driven cars with both H-Sports and M7 springs, and I currently have M7 springs on my car. The M7's are a firmer ride than stock, but more comfortable than the H-Sports. Both handle very well, but if the MINI is your daily driver, you'll probably be happier with the M7's IMO.

I'm running the M7's with an 18" wheel/42mm offset, and 215/35's, and do not have rubbing issues. From a cosmetic point of view, the M7 drop really makes the 18's look good. I think you're just fine if indeed your wheels have the same offset as mine.

M7 it is.

They do have an offset of 42mm. Looks like the M7's are going in. Thanks for all the info. Results and pics soon.
