R56 Laurel sport edition - roll call to 300
hatchbacks have body colored trim and the passenger side stripe... just how they did it because we're cooler
Hey all, Just traded my 08 MCS in for a Laurel Clubman. Can anyone tell me why some Laurels seem to have the striping on the right with black trim around the wheels and aero grill, and others have them on the left with body color trim? I have the summer package with black trim and the different wheels.

ours had 3 miles on it. my we decided we had to have it and we have not been sorry. kind of bummed it did not come with leather. The Laurel Cabrilo is definitely a jewel. She was in the Mid 30's and named Sgt. Pepper. You can see her on facebook if you search for Nickory and Sgt. Pepper.
At the dragon I saw an R55 Laurel a fake Laurel Hardtop and our Laurel Cabrilo. I think Sgt. Pepper (our laurel cabrilo) is a real head turner. I do not have a picture to post but you can find both our MINIs on facebook under Nickory and Sgt. Pepper.
I was sad that I had the only R-55 Laurel at the Dragon this year.
Laurel is about to go...

Just wasn't really a fan of the decals. I have all the PN's for the decals and will replace them when I sell if requested.
I agree. Might have saved some doe buying the PW Clubman then adding side scuttles with black crown spokes. Now it looks hacked....my opinion.
ah damnit! I missed your forsale. I would have bought it sight unseen. My M5 came from Raleigh too!
Laser blue is a great color! It would be YOUR car, ordered the way YOU want it, and YOU will be the one doing the "break-in" and driving it how you think it should be driven.
Just my opinion.
I would personally go with the '12 to your spec. For myself, the issue with the Laurel Edition was lack of sunroof. After selling my JCW several months ago, I ran across a L.E. that I absolutely loved...until I realized it didn't have a sunroof. That's a deal breaker for me. I tried it years ago in a E39 5-series (I had to pick between a manual transmission and a sunroof) and two weeks later, I sold my manual for an automatic with a sunroof. I'm THAT picky.

If it weren't for my commitment phobia with non-sunroof cars, I could pick up a 2006 JCW GP w/20k on the odometer for CHEAP, but I think it would always bother me. I'm the same way with being attracted to limited production cars/just ANY car you don't really see too many on the road.
