The hardtop has 26k on it. The damage isn't THAT bad and I'm sure it will end up being rebuilt and put back on the road w/rebuilt title.

Been the owner of a 2011 Canadian Edition 1 or 1 Laruel Mini Cooper for over a year now.... finally working up the nerve to show off my car.
Since there were no Laurels offered to us Canadians, i had to either buy one in the States or build my own. I ended up building my own edition.
Here is the story behind it.
Found a Pepper White MINI S that I knew I could work with to build my dream car. Only 3 hours away from my house, I call and book an appointment
Here she is when I purchased it:
Here she is during her transformation, adding the JCW kit, painting it to my specs, painting the roof, mirror caps
Here it is sitting waiting for the stripes to be added to it. This was the last time I saw my MINI before they delivered it to me.
Here is how it looked when I took her home for the first time:
Since there were no Laurels offered to us Canadians, i had to either buy one in the States or build my own. I ended up building my own edition.

I should say I have added a few other Mods to my "Laurel" edition since then.... 16mm Spacers, JSart wing tip, HSport Sway Bar, NM Engenering Strut Bar, Alta Intake, Redline Good Alcantra Steering Wheel. On order and will pick up at Minis On Top on the 21st of June some OEM Black Fog's

It Looks amazing!!!!! I love ours. When you have one everyone know its you. There are not a lot of them out there.

Yes... having the ONLY Mini that looks like this, its kinda jumps out and screams for attention!
I love it!
Only problem..... Im already starting to wonder how can I TOP THIS with my next MINI!

I don't know if this thread is still be followed, but just in case I thought I'd add my new purchase to the roll call.
I bought a Laurel Sport R55 with winter package and I'll be picking it up tomorrow. It's a one owner car and the PO removed the stripes and replaced them with two black stripes on the hood, which I'll be removing immediately.
I wasn't really in the market for something like this, but this car just popped and really caught my eye.

I guess an old thread, but I'm the new proud owner of a R55 Laurel Edition (34.000 miles). I was looking for a used Mini and the Laurel Edition was by far the best looking one out there, so pretty excited when I found this one for sale a couple of months ago.
Just had a bump in the road, where a new clutch/plate was need (after only 34.000 miles?) but hopefully that won't dimish the ownership too much.

Have not been here for a while. My LE has been stored in Pa and not used much. 7900m. Just brought it to Florida and I'm gonna drive it. Has anyone tuned theirs or is a waste of $$. Is there a color code for the wheels. I have a small rash and might try a DIY. Thanks, Frank
