R56 Laurel sport edition - roll call to 300
What time are you meeting up. I am going to be in Sanford early that day to support Flow Mini of Raleigh at the Street Survival program they are running. If I can, I will definitely come and meet up.
Im staying in short pump until April 22. Don't have my laurel though :(
Have you looked up the laurel group on facebook?

They didnt give me the choice, damn government... So I covered the car and waiting to see my buddy in 3 weeks.
The numbers are in our hearts
No official numbering but only 100 of each package was put on the hatchbacks clubmans and converts together in the states. Europe has the black laurel too.

something as simple as the little mini laurel logo... 2010 MCS Laurel Sport
with a numbering system on it ____ of 300 / ____ of 100
Alternating Hardtop/Vert/Clubman in the 300 series...
Anyone interested in getting involved tell me. I can design up some prototypes and see what people think. we can raffle off 1 of 300 / 1 of 100 (Hardtop) 2 of 300 / 1 of 100 (Vert) and 3 of 300 / 1 of 100 (clubman) badges.
Maybe even motivate more people to come out with their laurels. I can contact all the vendors and mini mags to see if we can get a free spot on their sites because it will be a non-profit organization.
Speaking of which i wanted to make a dash placard for the laurels, hand them out as people start coming out with their laurels..

***NEW NOTE***
The emblems will be chrome outlined with colors as seen in the photo. they will also be 3 dimensional. and the numbers will be hand engraved one by one so no 2 will be alike.

Not sure how much they will cost or how much people will consider paying for these if the cost is a little high, but im thinking about starting a small website and using it as a NPO. I am also capable of contacting MINI USA or even just getting a local dealer to sign off on certificates of authenticity. with stamps and embossed seal.
Maybe like i mentioned before, a raffle of the 3 number one badges. If anyone has anything they would like to add feel free to give me some ideas, i can send it to the company that makes the emblems for active autowerke. I will contact all dealerships across the US to see if i can get some small posters put up in the dealerships to try and pull more people out of the wood works that do not know about NA Motoring or may not know about the Laurel Groups.

I would be interested in getting one. I'll try to keep an eye on this thread.

PS: Good choice going w ABF
Its always nice to get new toys
I tell everyone that i am really glad that i got this car. Its been fun to mod and a blast to drive.
About ABF..... I appreciate it. When I said i searched and searched and searched. I wasnt kidding, I really appreciate those guys over there. It was a tough cookie to break here in the forums, but I had to stand by them even with all the criticism.
I know i may have came off as a **** at first, but i am just very particular about things i buy and cars overall

Never took anything personal because i know where your coming from. Shoot i spent $130 on that vag and ended up finding out by testing that it was not capable of holding boost, im sure a few took that as a jab to their mod. Its tough to get into the mini aftermarket scene at least for the r56 because not many have so there isnt a big following. 90% of mini drivers just drive em for good gas mileage, fun cars but not modding.
all good

I saw the convertible leaving the village on the way in, but missed seeing your clubman. We spent most of the time driving the Hell Bender, Dragon and rest of the Smokie Mts with our local Mini club. Sorry I missed you guys in person!
I just left Towne Mini in Buffalo, NY and they have reportedly the last Laurel Clubman available for sale. I must say in person it is a very cool looking car. Since it is a 2010 it's discounted about $3000. If it had a sunroof I would have bought it today. Very sharp.
Hey all, Just traded my 08 MCS in for a Laurel Clubman. Can anyone tell me why some Laurels seem to have the striping on the right with black trim around the wheels and aero grill, and others have them on the left with body color trim? I have the summer package with black trim and the different wheels.
