I am working on sealing the deal on a Laurel SE right now. Im trading in my 07 Mercedes e350 "Key to the Cure" Edition for it. (KTTC is 1 of 1000)

I didnt realize how limited this vehicle was until i started looking for information about it a few minutes ago. I see how excited you guys are about this car and it makes me want it even more. Already have approved financing and am just waiting on the dealership to call me back so I can make this car mine.

I am pretty excited that there are people that feel so passionate about their cars. wish me luck.. and if i seal this deal, i will be needing one of those custom brushed style shift ***** to make it official...

 

fyi, i don't have the Laurel brushed style **** . damn it!!

I like the brushed know in comparison to the Polished... Its just more my style.

 

The dealership called back and gave me what i wanted but i had a guy call me to buy my mercedes for 25k which is 2200 more then the dealership would offer me. So I had to be smart and not screw my self over a car. The dealership pulled the "Im calling a guy right now to puck this car up right now" I have been watching the car for 4-6 weeks now with no luck on a sale for them. I hope that next week they will still have the vehicle so i can get it... But if not i guess it is what it is.

Dealer Called me back saying they want to sell the car to me even though they have another guy ready to pay? Sounds like they dont have another buyer.. Requested a 3k depost, i told them i would do $1500...

Dropped the deposit on the car... Hopefully i will be picking it up in the next week or so.. Wish me luck with the sale of my car and the pick up of my MINI LSE

 

Rarities are worth the trouble.

 

Its just every toy you get, the MOD bug hits and before you know it you cant stop. Below are some of the vehicles I have played with over the last 2 years. Im really a BMW guy, i also have a 2004 Honda CBR 600RR and 2 Yamaha AT Series Enduros, I just sold a 1980 BMW 323i (import) I also had a 99 honda civic hatch and build a Aprilla scooter for a friend of mine that got a DUI. It is pretty sick.

I am super excited to get this car and I am looking to get a countryman all4 blacked out at the end of 2011

The Laurel edition minis are really cool I saw one a few months back at my dealership and I was a little iffy but know I definitely like them. pepper white was the right choice.

 

I hope it's all I expect it to be.

How many of you are going to the Dragon? We had 6 Laurels last year,3 sedans, 1 Convertible and 2 Clubmans.

I actually met the person. His wife sometimes drives his Laurel on base (she's a fellow officer). I don't believe they are on NAM.

 

This is totally of Topic but I find funny that the last MINI I test drove before getting my own was a Laurel Sport Version, and I went to school in Fairfield, CT. Made me smile..
