U missed Nothing , I was just expecting a bit more tuners who honestly spend money to make real HP out of there car. I realized that many on here are satisfied with a bit of noise from a catback and are not as devout when it comes to chasing down the fine european autobahn cruisers as I am. Motor on everyone, just stay to the right please.

I guess the public here is not "enthusiastic" enough. Happens when the car comes decent enough in stock form.

hm.. so I ordered my car while living in Germany.. took delivery on it there.. actually have had it on the autobahn.. so am I an original autobahn cruiser?
Your selling your car? because you can't find enough people on NAM??? who want mods to increase hp??? and you said.. again? your selling your car?
Have you ever heard.. that a MC.. can in theory beat in speed a MCS?? because of the skills of the driver..
Not sure who let you down.. and you say not many are willing to spend enough? not sure you know that for sure, and if so how.. your rant/tirade/tantrum/im taking my car and selling it// quite frankly caught my attention.. and made me shake my head.. I began to feel sorry for you.. then I cracked up and laughed, wondering can anyone truly be so childish? Take your car and trade it in for a tonka truck.. because well thats what children do when they can't get their way and make everyone in the playground play with them.. good luck with whatever you end up doing.. but I would suggest you try driving your car to enjoy it.. and enjoy the mods and things you do to it.. and not worry about "the many who let you down"

So, he's selling his car because other people don't spend money on theirs?

Huh.

Look more widely...

and the choices for hopping up a R56 are rather limited. If in fact one wants really high horsepower, there are other cars that have had more hacking and aftermarket options. While we all may love our cars to more or less a degree, you can't argue that the options for our car are as extensive as for others.

Whatever...

  • $ Poor MINI owner
  • $$ Fair MINI owner
  • $$$ Good MINI owner
  • $$$$ Better MINI owner
  • $$$$$ World's best MINI owner
I guess that's one way to measure the MINI experience. It's not what I would have used. Good luck on your next car, and please, please spend more than anyone else when you do your mods!

Riiiight.

"as devout when it comes to chasing down the fine european autobahn"

Its like watching Mini vids on Youtube where they are racing a IS350 or something similar in a straight line. Sounds like you didn't do your homework before you bought the car.

Here's a clue: think curvy.

If you want .25 mile speed, go buy a corvette.
