Jeesh Matt, since when does a dollar amount of modding supercede praticality for the average MC owner ?

........As another whom appreciates "BLACK FORREST" Cars, would I WANT to drive a MINI Cooper which weighs a mere 3 thousand pounds faster than 140 mph? Especially when you consider the lack of surface and underbody aerodynamics ? Only if I was being chased by the Russian MOB.....and hopefully not for very long distance either....

BUT in your defense, in comparison to the R56, there are more performance parts available for the R53, because there is only so much one can do with the turbo.,

I think its more that there are not many parts for the R56 if you wanted to mod a mini should have gotten an R53 not an R56!!! sounds to me like you just like to bolt crap on your car so why not just get a Honda? and how much are you willing to spend??? these cars will not (well most won't) see numbers above 220hp! they are quick fun cars not 600hp hot rods!!! maby you should have done more research before you got it!

FAIL!

we generate a lot more HP here in Europe douche, most of us are pushing 225-240 easy. Surely you dont think you got access to all inclusive **** in America do you? Tuning a MINI is one thing best done here in Europe. You get the left overs, and the Catbacks.
The peugeot 206-7 Rally Car team gets a 280 Hp and much more TQ from this engine.

I would like to see the stats that show that MOST of you are running 225-240 EASY!

Surely you dont think you got access to all inclusive **** in America do you?

You get the left overs, and the Catbacks.

You think you're the only American MINI owner who's lived in Europe on here? You think there aren't European members? Your so full of it it's disgusting, go buy a Mustang or Honda or whatever car you want that has a larger aftermarket than the R56 and enjoy, you're not chasing anything down on the autobahn no matter what you get.

I bought my mini in Germany... and well I'm not all about hp.. I'm about enjoying my car the way i want..
and im being cute.. but if your selling your mini.. i'll become one to offer you 2 dollars for it.. and hey what the heck, ill take all 3 for 10.. sounds fair.. and i own two minis.. and i am by far more rich then you ever will be.. how is that you ponder? well i enjoy them.. enjoy my life... and smile at others who do the same.. give it up.. we don't have to defend how we use our cars, mod or not mod our cars.. when the day comes that you are paying for our cars.. then you can have a say... take the 10 dollars i am offering you.. go buy some tissue and get on with it... peace out buddy...

Hey now, I'm actually a fan of the R models of the Volvos and probably would've bought a S40 rather than a MINI through military sales had I been able to get hold of a turbo AWD model with a standard transmission.
I really like his American vs. European V8 thread, hmm, M3 with less power and fuel economy at a higher price Vs. Corvette with more hp, better fuel economy and a lower price, don't let facts get in the way of your thought processes.

Wait, I'm really confused. You're make no sense, and I can't decide if you're lying, or just not particularly eloquent.

Are you in Europe, or in the US? Because if you're in Europe, you should have access to all these awesome parts you're talking about to make your MINI the fastest thing since the Veyron! And if you're in Europe, why are you coming onto a North American forum, expecting expertise with things that we can't get here?
