I'm not sure I understand your first question - are you asking about the auto climate control? If so, I would strongly recommend it. After having a car with it and then getting back into a car without it, I find it to be a huge convenience. It's relatively cheap, so I think it's great value!

As for the sport seats, there's definitely a difference in the bolster and how they hold you. I have a medium butt, so can't help you there .

Yes, my butt likes sport seats very much but I have heard of decisions on this very thing being determined by derrierial proportions.

I prefer controlling the AC myself, but I have a friend who likes the auto system. Of course, he opted for the convenience package, too.

I tried out both seats regular and sport in the dealership, and cloth, leatherette and leather.

I did find the sport seats to be much comfier. And also liked cloth and leather the best, but that is a completely personal decision.

My parents have a car with auto ac, and a car without. It is much simpler with the car that has auto ac, because you don't have to continuously fiddle with it.

I considerd the auto air, but my feeling was that it looked like it may be difficult to control while driving. The display was very small, and instead of the 3 large buttons and a single **** that you get with the regular air system, you get 9 much smaller buttons all crammed into the same tiny space. I could be wrong, since I've not owned a Mini yet, but that was just my feeling after looking at both systems.

I tried to keep accessories to a minimum. Eventually, it will break and become a repair bill. But, if you keep your car for a short period of time, load up on em'

I have heard a few people on here complain about the standard seats. I have the sport seats and they are very comfy. I didn't get the auto air, I had it on another car and never liked it.

I have the auto AC and still fiddle with it all the time. I'd opt for the manual in the future. Love the sport seats. They are great even with a long commute.

I have the auto climate control, and it's a big improvement over my previous BMW system, as it actually works. I don't have any problems with the controls, they're fairly intuitive (for a MINI). As for the seats, I prefer the sport seats because I like the additional side bolstering. I would recommend you spend a little "seat time" in both the regular and sport seats.

I'm pretty sure your butt can pick out your seat.
