Clear/smoked fender lights...
Not the upper sidemarkers but the lights in the front fender plastic trim - amber. Where can I find clear or smoked variants?

Thanks MB....that's just a film overlay though. Was really searching for something solid. If this unit is just a reflector, I can paint that out a bit and tint it down, but if it lights up, maybe there are other options.
I think this is what you are looking for: [ click here ]
I had a cracked lens and was thinking about smoking mine, but one was MUCH cheaper than the set of 4 smoked. Hope that helps!
Oh yeah, make sure you investigate how difficult this is to do. It's a pretty involved process and I was fairly frustrated while doing it - although I am not that handy in the garage.

It looks like those lenses are not for the R56. Does anyone make them for the R56?
I have charcoal tint from Lamin-x on my orange arch reflectors. There are some pics in my gallery if you want to see what it looks like. Up close you can tell it's orange, from far away it blends in. I would have replaced them with clear or smoked reflectors but have never been able to find any for the R56.

Yeah those lights aren't for an R56 so they won't fit new MINIs. I painted my arches so I just painted out the reflectors. I was originally going to put the red ones back once some clears came out to replace the ugly amber up front, but I'm probably going to keep them painted.
I want to clean up my fender trim and paint it. I am American leaving in Europe for a time. Can I just do away with these American fenders and replace w/ euro spec? Im not asking where to get them, Im asking if they are required by law in America. Also how the heck would a Police man know if I got ride of them.....Im sure they dont study every intricate detail of every car on the road. any clues?
I believe they are required by law but I have NEVER EVER heard of anyone getting a ticket for not having them. I replaced mine with the Euro spec ones and I live in Los Angeles where the cops aren't as nice as elsewhere. Plus they look great nice and smooth.
Cheap Mod!
One of the cheapest and most subtle mods I've done.
Spray paint from Checker(fav. parts store) MetalCast Smoke by Dupli-Color.
Been on for more than a year never touched up! I do however
avoid pressure washers. Best of all..fits R53,50 & R56,55..ect.
Lights off.
