Lowerd my MCS and got married in the same day! (pics)

So last Saturday was pretty eventful. After sitting on the H&R springs and Alta lower control arms for a week I figured maybe I could put them on before my wedding. Probably wasn't the smartest thing because the wedding was nearly two hours down the road. Anyways I took some before and after pics. Sorry about the lowered pictures because the sun wasn't right and I was in a hurry. Will get more later!

BEFORE

AFTER

And a couple from the wedding...

So far I am pleased with the car and the wife. The car handles a lot better (more than I expected) and the ride is only bumpier over actual bumps.. However the car is giving me two problems. This weekend it is going to go back on the lift and I need to try to figure out what is going on with the TPMS. It is giving me the warning flag that there is a tire with low pressure but all of them are perfectly filled. I was very careful during the install and clueless as to what I could have goofed up in that department. I also am getting some kind of weird rattling noise when I go over bumps at slower speeds. It sounds like it is coming from the front left side of the car. Again, not sure what could be making that noise... I did get it aligned and everything came back into OEM specs so I am happy there. Sorry, long post!

Congratulations and best wishes for a lifetme of happiness with your beautiful new bride. Speaking of beautiful, the lowered MCS looks great as well.

You're a brave man to take on a suspension upgrade on your wedding day - I hope that you had a solid backup plan and didn't attempt it in your dress whites!

I would have offered to marry you two, but then I saw your pics. As a USMA '69 grad, I'm afraid I would have had to defer ... MINI or no MINI. Congratulations though!

So I'm looking at Navy stuff and the Beach pics and thinking "I bet he's in Pensacola". Sure enough, I scroll up to your avatar and see P'cola. Congrats on both. As for the rattling, I took out a goofy insert that was inside my arm rest. That thing was annoying.

For the TPMS, did you try resetting it? I had my tires rotated at 5k and had the flag go off as well. So I just reset the flag to turn it off and it stayed off. As for your rattle....since you lowered your car, maybe check on the left plastic fin underneath the car in front of your wheel. You might have scraped it somewhere not knowing it with your new lowering and its about to fall off.

Oh and grats on the wedding...

Didn't even think of resetting the TPMS! Thats a great idea thanks! I took a peak at the plastic fin and unfortunately that looks a-okay.

Great pictures (car and wedding). I mean this in the nicest way but my wife was wondering if your wife was okay with only three pictures of the wedding and four pictures of your car.
