just to add some salt in your wounds... MY CAR ARRIVED TODAY!!!! after a loooonnnng looong 5.5 weeks, it is finally HERE.

but then again, im in college and it is currently being driven by the rest of my family members and they wont bother to drop it here because i have finals.

oh yeah... my car isnt waiting at the port... just an fyi

 

Hope your MINI has a nice voyage and that your friends on NAM don't constantly issue bogus reports of dock-worker strikes, numerous ice-bergs sitings, pirates, giant squid attacks, and the like. Yeah, my nerves were a bit frayed.

 

Don't forget the countless MINIs trapped forever in the Sargasso Sea.

 

That's so right. All bogus reports. They usually only have one or two drunk MINIs fall off of the cruise ship. Odds are yours'll be just fine. I'm just hoping mine doesn't party so hard that his drunk buddies try to see how far they can toss him over the side.

wait....the first person, besides BMW/MINI employees, to sit in & drive your car wasn't you? laaaaaaaaaame. wow. you're way nicer than i would be. you make mother teresa seem like the fox network (evil).

 

IT HURTS SOOO MUCH. oh the pain. waiting an entire year for this car... then i had to wait 6 whole weeks for them to build it! my eyes were glued on the mini tracking website (ive watched the mini factory video like 10 times), countless hours on NAM when i should have been studying for my organic tests... aftermarket parts (blackout, CAI, strutbar, short stub antenna) just sitting in my dorm room, ready to be placed in the car. the pain.

so the argument is that i will study and not get distracted... but the way i see it now, i am going insane. how am i suppose to concentrate when i know, back at home, someone is driving the car? it had 3 miles when it arrived... but now... who knows. im gonna cry.

but. i must thank all the NAM members and their numerous pictures that i had saved over the past few weeks. i called my older brother and he said he already got a comment on the car... some dude asking if it was new 08. if that was me, i would say "DAMN STRAIIIGHHTTTT" too bad i wasnt there... few more weeks

study, dude. that way you'll be able to get a high paying managerial position @ subway for when gas prices reach evening movie ticket prices. in fact...you should probably stay away from this site til finals is over. if it wasn't for the ron burgundy baxter reference (only ferrell movie i own cuz it ROCKS), i would've teased you mercilessly and saying very horrible things to ya. but lucky for you, i'm gonna be nice. you'll and baxter will be together soon enough...just don't eat burritos while motoring and STAY AWAY from bridges & motorcyclists.
