2007 MCS Not on Kelly Blue Book Yet?

How can I determine the "blue book" value for my car?

I am going to be trading it soon... and need to know what it's worth.

Thanks

In the past I had a issue with the local dealership, tom bush bmw, which took over a month to have resolved and repaired. Turns out after 30 days (ish) of their techs working on it, they said, screw it. we'll bring in someone else... the person they brought in had the issue isolated in 8 hours.

high pressure fuel pump went out.

Because I went public with the deal.. via this forum, and a few others, I am no longer welcome at the dealership.

Just like BMW North America doesn't care about the guy who bought a M3 on ebay for 60k and the dealership won't sell him the car, you can read about it on autoblog if you haven't heard... MINI USA does not care that I live in Jacksonville florida. Where the ONLY dealership that can service the car is tom bush.

The closest other dealerships are in Orlando (2 hours) and Atlanta (4-6 hours) (also, it was purchased at MINI of south atlanta).

I am now having electrical issues, pulled over twice (once by local police, second by florida highway patrol) for 1 HID headlight out, NO brakelights, NO tail lights, NO tag lights... unbeknownst to me.

At the same time... the engine is still having problems with the fuel pump and valve timing. Causing dangerous-like shift points (e.g. at the red line all the time) in the car.

Unfortunately this makes it difficult to drive to atlanta or orlando...

I am wondering, what the car is worth, without these problems, so I know where to start bartering with a different car dealership... and then factoring in these issues.

MINI USA has not done anything to resolve my problems.

it is unbelievable to me that the dealerships are trolling forums and banning people for opinions on service or lack of service. if they dont want negative feedback offer better service. i have not had a problem with my dealer but i dont get the car till tuesday. my ma is a nice guy and spent lots of time with us. he is patient and i have nothing but nice things to say so far.

There are service advisors, who believe it not, will come here, albeit anonymously, for help, tips, etc...

And there's Motoring advisors who will browse the forums for mention, kudos, death wishes, etc.. lol (j/k j/k) about their dealership.

Trust me.

Also, note that I posted my story in the sunshineminis.org forum as well as here... to keep it both local and national ....

You can get the value form NADA. It's closer to what the dealer will allow you too.

Why aren't you seeking legal advice if you are having this much trouble with everything?

Depending on the mileage, exterior, and interior condition I'd say it's worth about $3000 to $4000 less than what you paid for it new. Then again it depends if you plan to trade-in or do a private sale. You'll get less in a trade-in but I'm not sure how you would feel doing a private sale knowing the problems the car has or had.
