Recommended interior for chili red (white roof)?

Regular cooper (red chili with white roof and sunroof).
It will match the regular balck clothes seats.

I thought of:
red+piano+chrome
cream+piaon+chrome
red+chrome

Any ideas?

How about cream, flat black dash and CR rings? You'd even save money that way.

For more options, take a look at http://www.lylesvinylstyles.net/

Piano Black will go with just about anything. Personally, I don't like the interior chrome -- don't like shiny things reflecting in the windows or reflecting sunlight into my eyes.

Thanks for the help guys. I still don't know which fits me most.
I'm looking for extra luxurious style.
I liked the regular red+silver until I saw the piano+red+chrome in the agency
and it looked much more fency and luxurious.
Maybe it's because of the chrome but it looked more luxurious and "newer" than red+silver. I don't know exactly why. Maybe it's because the red+silver is one year old?
If I take red+chrome will it have the same effect?
I went through all the users galleries to see interior pics and compare them but it still doesn't look as in real life (the red+piano+chrome, for example, looked much more impressive in real life).

Btw, how about regular silver+grey?
Do you guys with the black think you should have bought silver (missing some light colors in the interior)?

Rooster red / black

As with the previous poster, my CR/CR has the red color line dash and red/black seats. But I kept the stock checkerboard on the dash, which I think looks great.

I have english oak dash w/piano black door elipse, rooster red trim, oak steering wheel, standard black cloth seats w/chrome interior trim. I am very happy with it but have thought the cream might also look good as the previous post shows. One consideration might be keeping the cream clean on the door pulls given natural oils on your hands etc. When detailing the car I'm glad I got the chrome interior as wiping down the silver trim with time might wear the finish off but I'm not sure.

I agree with the rooster Red Color line, and the Red leather black cloth seats. However I would go with the silver dash. IMHO if you go piano black and especially with the anthracite roof, it is just too dark.

IMHO the interior red does not match the exterior chili red.

I went with the standard Cooper S interior:

I did however, pimp my ride with the JCW steering and Recaros:

I didn't even bother to get the carbon insets for the steering wheel, but instead I took the standard silver ones from the original steering wheel. Either all-carbon or no carbon I thought.

I had several people ask me about the "nice interior".

If you are planning on getting a non-S, then I would get the silver, to match the S's checkered-silver parts. Brushed alloy also looked cool on one of the MINIs in the dealers showroom.

For me personally cream or red ar simply too much. Maybe a thrill at the beginning, but as time goes by you get tired or worse cream gets dirty.

Edit: one more thing - I had the chrome interior decor on a test drive MINI and found it to reflect all sorts of light to my annoyance - so I went with standard silver and I am very happy I did, because it looks very nice and does not reflect sunlight or (at night) any light source whatsoever!

Just don't necessarily limit yourself to what the dealer offers. The dash can be wrapped in vinyl in any color for less than they charge for upgrading your dash.

You guys with the great interiors with red accents need to get some shifter and e-brake boots from Redline Goods.

In my 06 CR Cooper:

And in my 05 JB MCSC....

By the way, I would go with the Piano Black dash and then instead of going Rooster Red, I would do as VS says, and instead of the red that doesn't quite match Chile Red, I would have the pieces wrapped in vinyl by Vinyl Styles.

I'm with you on the chrome. Just personal taste, but the regular silver does nothing for me. Went with red, alloy and chrome to brighten things up. So tired of most cars being 30 different shades of gray or black with cheap looking plastics to match. When I saw the chrome in person and the alloy, I knew I wanted them. I liked the piano black too, but the smudge and fingerprint issue turned me off.

If you want classy, go with the Piano Black and the chrome.
Get the cream if you have cream piping on your seats.
Get the red if you have any red on your seats.

I guess you'll get as many opinions as there are respondents. Personally, I think Rooster Red color is just too "orangey" to match the CR paint. And I don't like a whole lot of colors bouncing around inside--I like variations of the classic silver. I went with Fluid Silver, to bring everything together. I figure that bright red exterior will say enough.

JMHO, and I know it's definitely not what others think!

Ordered today:
Cooper (not S), chilli red + white roof +sunroof.
Rooster red + silver (original, matte black on the doors).
Chrome decor (it only appears on the dashboard, not on the doors, because I stayed with the regular silver).
I thought of piano black, saw it, it fits the chrome perfectly, looks shiny, but I just couldn't go with it. Needed some silver in the middle. It looks awsome on the doors with the chrome.
I also saw the regular gray, it looks good, but I needed some color in the cockpit so I ordered the rooster red.
I still am not sure about how the chrome will fit the regular gray.
I also am not sure about the chrome not being on the doors (brushed alloy or piano black could solve that problem).
