sunroof screen always stays open about one inch

My sunscreen which covers the sunroof will close at first, but then comes open about an inch and stays that way. The dealer said no way to fix it. Does anyone else have this issue?

Yep, it's been an issue since I bought mine. I don't even really notice it much. If I do, I just close it.

This happens to me too. There is no clip to hold the screen in place, so whenever you hit a bump, the screen retracts about an inch.

There is a dealer fix. They install a rubber bumper (not visible) that makes that first inch or so harder to open. When I mentioned it to my dealer they were aware of the issue.

yep, it happens, but I haven't taken it to the dealer to address the issue. Good to know there is a fix for it.
Thanks

Mine is like that too. As an aside I sometimes notice a rattling sound, like there's loose change in the passenger door cubby. I found out that's the sunroof screen in the back even though it come from a different place.

Yes there is a bulletin out in regards to this issue. Tell the dealer to check the bulletins and then install the rubber stops that are mentioned in the bulletin. Maybe don't tell them to, but let them know.

Mine doesn't close any more than 1" open, but there's no change in position while driving. I happened to mention this to my SA and she said this was normal. (This is her standard answer, to everything, though.)
