Got the Mini a week ago. First thing that went were the RFT for a set of Michelins. Next, put a set of Mach V Springs on to lower it an inch and a quarter, and lastly tinted the windows and sunroof.

That should be it for this week.

The first photos are the ones before the tint and lowering and the second are with them;

It truly does...nice choice on the Chrome mirror-caps too.

Looks nice. How do you like the handling with it lowered? What's the ground clearance now?

What mods will you do next week?

Yes, tint really cuts down on the cabin temps in the SouthWest. I had the dealership install Huper Optik ceramic tint. It _really_ helps with the UV.

The lowering and tint looks good!

I'll be getting the tint done soon as well....I was curious how do they avoid the tint peeling up by the automatic window (quick up/down) feature when you open and close the door - immediatly after the tint was applied? If memory serves me correctly, you aren't supposed to roll the windows down for 3 days or so, correct?

Looks nice!

A couple things, repeat nlscooby's question about the auto front glass feature effecting the edge, and what percent tint is in the back? Looks a little bit lighter than I want to do on mine.

I have had several vehicles tinted and it is no more than 8 hours until you can roll the windows up and down. Once you do get it done, tape the up down switches so that you dont accidentally destroy the window tint.

What brand and percentage of tint did you install and, if you don't mind
telling us, how much did tinting both the windows and sunroof cost?

I had the dealership do my tint before I picked up the car, and mine didn't have any issues with the first 3 days.

Thanks.. Not sure the brand name of the tint material, but the tint is 38% front, 15% rear and 5% on the sunroof. Total cost for all of the tinting was $175.

Although I didn't run my windows down for the first two days, the windows do automatically drop about 3/8" when the doors are open and return when the doors are closed. This didn't seem to cause any issues with the tinting.
