My understanding is that the 15inch OEM wheels won't fit the MCS because the brakes are bigger. I've heard that Sport Edition makes a 15inch wheel that will fit the MCS - info and the wheel available at Tire Rack. But that doesn't help your situation. I don't know if there is a solution. You might want to do a search over in the tire and wheel forum. Good luck!

no 15" oem wheel will fit the front of a 2007MCS. The brake caliper is too big.

That is a possiblility, but you will have to make sure your lug bolts are long enough to work. That is very important. Me, I'd sell them & buy a set of 16" wheels for winter use.

I think you will be able to sell them fast in the market place here on NAM.

Good luck.

Yes the 16's will fit. The standard rim size on a R56 MCS is 16 inch.

I wouldn't guarantee any pre-07 16" oem rim will fit (specifically thinking of x-lites) . to get the JCW from the factory in 06 you had to get 17" rims because of the larger brakes. I think only the 16" bridgespokes (which you can still get) will fit.

No guarantee, but I believe you may be wrong about that. Maybe you should post the question in the wheels forum.

I have 16" 5star R53 mini wheels on my MCS R56 for winter. No issues what so ever.

16

Plenty of us R56 MCS owners looking to part with our S-winders so you should be able to pick up a set of them pretty cheap. Check out the marketplace.

Perhaps it's obvious

Perhaps it's obvious only to me but why not put snow tires on your stock 16" wheels and upgrade to something else for the summer. That's what I'll be doing.
