auto locking the doors

I was going thru the options and when I set the doors to lock after you drive away, but is there an option where it unlocks when you stop the car? There is only 3 options, i think and I tried all of them, what does each of them do?

This has been the million dollar question that everyone has been asking. Whoever figures this out will be the hero of the forums.

According to MINI techs across the country......this can not be done. You have to manually unlock the doors now. In the previous model you could activate an option to unlock the doors when you turned off the engine.

Doesn't it unlock as soon as you turn the key to the 'off' position?

I dunno, I just have mine set to not lock.....it seems like the only option if you do not want to have to unlock them, or yank the handle twice.

I think the third option was something like

locks the vehicle after some time if no door has been opened.
