Well we finally took our recent obsession to the next level. Here are the specs:

I called the 1866 number and they said it would done with production on Sep 22! The order was placed on Sep 10th... I haven't been able to talk to anyone on the 1866, but what should the production week be? How long does it take to get to San Diego CA if they are done with production on Sep 22?

The only difference in my life so far is the consistent dreams of driving a mini... The wait has begun.

That is almost the exact car we ordered.

Anyway we also live in SD and our mini left the UK on 8/27 and is arriving in port tonight (about 3 weeks). We've been told that it may take 3-5 days at the VDC but we'll hopefully have the car next weekend.

Once you get a VIN check this website (auto tracking) and you can get an idea of when your car will arrive. http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/index.jsp

There is a chance that your car may not be on one of these ships though so this doesn't work 100% of the time.

I found the 1866 number to be very helpful with telling you exactly where your car was/is in the process - at least until it goes to the port, then it goes into a black hole.

How is laser blue on the fading... I am not sure how long the laser blue color has been around but my gf is worried that the blue color will fade faster than other colors. I hope not, cause that color is sweet.

 

Similar to mine as well, though I have the white highlights and wheels. I chose the cloth seats, which are awesome, chrome line interior and Multi-Functional Steering Wheel.
