Anyone know of good additional running (driving) lights

Anyone know of good additional running (driving) lights? I want to add four to the upper grill, and I know Paolo Uber makes a bar, but that mounts on the lower grill.

In my state, we have to have a front license plate. I can add two more (4 total) OEM lights to the grill, but they are small.

I am really liking the photo of the red Mini I am attaching.

Help!

Oh, and the Blue Mini is mine :-)

How about using the tow hook bracket for the license plate then you can add the lights to the bottom.

You can do as I did, use the ALTA kit, but with only the outer two lamps. It even saved me some money when I bought the kit, since ALTA didn't have to charge me for two pairs of lamps.

I mounted mine directly to the grill using small black-painted angle brackets from McMaster-Carr. They're made from 1/4" steel and are plenty strong. I put a bolt through the bracket which goes through the grill and then gets a fender washer and nut on the inside. Mine only has two on it but the grill seems strong enough to hold four. You have to use slim lights (less than 3" thick) though because the brackets don't stick out too far from the grill. Hella 500's would work fine.

Georgia vehicle code says no more than two, and they have to be between 12" and 42" off the road. You might want to check the law where you live.

They will be hard wired to the turn on with the High Beams and only to the secondary button that tuns those on as well.

I can't imagine having 6 lights is illegal if they are not on.

Aside, I live in Chicago. So, this is more aesthetic than practical.

But thanks for the heads-up!
