Last friday I pulled into my drive way and I see a package next to the door (mud room). Has anyone else receiced this little package?

I walk up to it and it was from MINI USA, not knowing what it was I headed for the kitched island to open it up. Before I tell you what was in it, being in marketing and busines development, I can apprecite a good thing when I see one. Inside I found a nice little journal, a MINI pen, a mouse pad w/ cool pictures, 3D glasses, and some type of secret code (can't figure it out yet-duh) and can't recall what else....

Anyway, as MINI probably planned; the mouse pad is at my desk, the journal is my glove box along with the cool pen to take notes of anything unsual, the 3D glasses are being worn by the dogs, and life goes on happy with our MINI.

We are all truly part of something.....

 

Check out this thread in the General section and PM me with what the glasses and secret code tell you. I picked up my MCS in May and still haven't received the package you got.

 

I got my car in may as well and haven't gotten a package either....

 

I'll have to take a look at it again tonight, I can't seem to figure it out....

 

Mini was built 5/07 and purchased 7/07.... package arrived 8/24...

I was wondering how many folks had received this thing...
it's pretty cool....

I got mine a couple days ago. I think they send out like a ton of them every few months all at once.

 

Got ours. The pen is very cool. It's ribbed.

 

My wife just got hers on Thursday! She liked the antenna topper.

 

That's right! I forgot the little 8-ball antenna topper....

 

I just got my Adventure Field Kit in the mail today. Very neat. I got the journal, a ribbed pen, MINI "I want a gift" cards and advertising cards, an 8 ball antenna topper, a big roll of MINI Window Poetry that has little sayings that cling to the inside window, and the mouse pad.

Oh, and I got Tawanda on 2 July.

I picked my MINI on 7/7/07 and just got the kit yesterday. My antenna ball is an eight ball design.

 

I got mine this week as well. I thought the car detail package my MA gave me when I took the delivery of my MCS was the gift everyone was talking about.... But I guess that was something extra!

 

My MC was built 5/07, arrived in Memphis 6/21, purchased 6/23.
My kit had the window poetry, 8 ball antenna ball, mouse pad, journal, pen, mini gift cards, mini cards with sayings or something on them, assorted info sheets.

Sounds like someone got a great gift upon purchase, the detailing kit! all my dealer gave me was a hat (i don't wear hats), and a key chain.. oh and free bottled and sodas during the 2-3 hours I was at the dealership.

I purchased the chrome license plate frame with the british flag on it.

Has anyone received other 'stuff' after this adventure kit?
I see someone says they got a MINI parking sign.. that would be cool!

PS: I wish there were more words on the window poetry, but i think I'm going to put
"Moon Me!" on my window for a few days and see what happens, I might regret it, but could be slightly entertaining

PSS: I almost forgot. I liked the flap 'nothing behind this flap, nada, nothing, zero, zilch' .. Or something like that. Of course curiosity got the best of me. But I'm not sure what to do with the 'secret' stuff I found. :-(

I wrote to MINI USA to complain about never receiving my kit. If it goes like I expect, MINI won't be able to find that they sold me a car.

Got mine yesterday. My wife has yet to receive one (we got our MINI's 4 days apart-with her getting hers first). There's a bit of bitterness here on her part.

 

Don't forget to look behind the secret panel and get the 3d glasses and decoder.

 

Got my MINI on 4/26. Recieved my kit in June.
