We picked up our car on 2 July, just got the kit this past Monday - the 8-ball one.

 

I e-mailed MINIUSA to ask where mine was. No response. No surprise.

 

We picked up our MCSC on July 21 and just received the kit yesterday. The pen is very nice.

 

picked up the MC on 6/20 got my kit yesterday. The mouse plan sits on my work desk at the third PC. I got the 8-ball. Probably won't use the window clings though.

 

Well, the MINI MO remains unaltered. MINIUSA e-mailed me that my dealership was supposed to request it. (WHY??? -- If you buy the car, it should be sent. Period.) Of course, my MA never heard of it, which I advised MUNIUSA, which then told me they have no record of me! But, they will send one out once I tell them my VIN. Un-freaking-believable.

My adventure kit arrived today, opened and empty! I think I'll call Ask Mini...

 

The Kit came yesterday! Completely cool! I noticed that the side of the box has a check off for the type of car - do the contents vary according to car type?

I suppose that the window poetry wouldn't be appropriate for the convertible - not enough windows?

We got the 8-ball antenna topper.

 

I got the 8-ball one yesterday. At first I didn't know what the heck the 8-ball was for, I was going to start asking it yes or no questions. Pack is filled with the quirky MINI sense of humor that I like.

 

It took almost exactly two months for my kit to arrive. The glasses and decoder are used to get some more fun swag from MINI Confidential. There's a clue for you.

 

Purchased mine on 8/19, received the package yesterday. I too didn't know what the 8 ball was for so now I have to wrestle it away from my 16 month old son. Oh boy!

 

I got the lid for a kit in the mail; somebody at the post office is playing with my Mini Welcome Kit.
I told my salesman.

 

I took delivery 4/17, never recieved welcome package either. I guess, I'll shoot an email to miniusa.

 

Yeah, I would. Also, sign up at the owner's lounge if you haven't already. Couldn't hurt.

 

I picked up the car on 9/12/07 and got the Adventure Field Kit with an 8 ball today.

I kinda gave up on the 3D glasses...

What if I purchased the car from the dealership instead of ordering.. Do you think I'll still recieve one of these cool sounding kits?

Same - purchased off the lot on the 13th of this month. Will be checking the mail constantly!

 

When I bought a GTI a few years ago it was the same with VW. If you bought at some dealerships you would get a free cleaning kit, with other dealerships nothing. I would guess it is just a matter of some dealerships going an extra mile and some not.

 

I got mine yesterday. Where is the secret compartment with the glasses
(admit I didn't have time to go through it all yet).

i'm tempted to make my own message by cutting out individual
letters from the window stickers.

 

I picked up my car early September and received my kit yesterday. I didn't get the 3D glasses, but did get the mouse pad, 8 ball antenna topper, the window clings, travel journal and pen, and the card case w/cards. Not really too exciting, but the pen is cool!
