Bluetooth Snap-in Adapter?

Does anyone know if the bluetooth center armrest snap-in adapter is an extra cost option or is it supposed to come standard with the bluetooth feature? Thanks.

They are optional, but there are not a whole lot of choices, unless you have a really old SonyEricson or Moto phone.

Much appreciated. I doubt I'll invest in one of those, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing an included piece.

I think they are the same snap-ins as for BMW cars, so check the BMW site. There aren't very many last time I checked. RAZR works.

I am sorry to re ask this question. So If I buy the RAZR phone I will also have to buy the snap-in to go with it? I guess I misunderstood what came with my bluetooth. I thought maybe a generic snapin was in the armrest that may fit some of the phones listed on their phone website. http://wireless4mini.com/phones.html . Does your RAZR upload your phonebook to your car?

I have a snap-in that works with older NOkias.

It is a BMW product and you can buy the snap-ins on ebay for 75.00 to 100.00 bucks or from BMW for about 150.00. Works with a bunch of different phones depending on the adapter, but many of the phones are oldskool.
My used car came with the system and a snap-in so, instead of buying another bluetooth system, and since this one costs about $1250.00 I opted to buy an older, but full-featured phone (NOkia 6230). We'll see how it works.
