I'm so sleepy *yawn*

Will Mike sleep tonight - or continue to surf NAM, sit in the Owner's Lounge hitting the "refresh" button waiting for status to change, or re-read the online Owner's Manual for the 3rd night in a row.

He doesn't quote poetry anymore...he tells me about options, functionality, and service items. OK, he's never quoted poetry

He handed over his first de-modded bit off of Churchill tonight. The Auto-Up circuit. He took it like a champ. Only a slight whimper...not really a whine, but more like he stubbed his toe. Tomorrow night we take the Strut Tower Brace off and install on a friend's MINI. I think Thursday when the aero bumper, M7 splitter, and M7 grills (upper, middle and lower) come off will be a bit more painful. I'll have Kleenex at the ready. :impatient

He's now on a first name basis with a lady at MINIUSA. Poor gal. She's probably going to start using Caller ID so she can go on "break" when she sees his number. She confirmed for him today that his VIN wasn't issued yet - probably tomorrow. He takes it as a good sign that he's going to get a "Wednesday build".

And if Blair or Mike utter the words, "You complete me" to each other - that's it, I'm filing for divorce.

Oh - and he just hit REFRESH again...and the OL still isn't updated. Now he's wondering out loud what time it is in Oxford England...when "his" production team gets to work, and why there is seemingly a delay in getting him a VIN. God help me.:impatient

*sigh* I'm soooooo going to bed now.

As of 10:51 PM California time, it is 7:51 AM in London. Oxford is on the same side of the Greenwich line. So, should be the same time.

Poor DeeDee I'll have to write her a personal letter of appreciation when all of this is over and acknowledge how patient and kind she's been with you while you're in such a fragile, needy, and desperate state of mind.

You're getting me in big troubs with this, LynnEl I confide in you folks, buried deep in obsure threads...and the information still gets leaked to Mike.

Lots of meetings today. I won't be online very much. I'll update y'all on Mike's mental health tonight or tomorrow.

Blair and JJ - Ya'll are going to have to pick up my slack on Yahoo IM today. Comfort Mike, keep him company, don't worry too much about his drooling - hell, if enough of it fills the keyboard tray it will short it out anyway.

You really are fatigued, eh baby? Normally you'd have jumped on the opportunity to talk about your "club"...but really, a "stick"?

........for what?
At least he didn't say "twig."

That depends on who is making the invitation.

I received Church's auto-up circuit last night. Although it had never been installed, there was a hint of hesitation as Mike handed me the box. It's possible that was due to me being $1.00 short of the asking price, but I'm pretty sure it's because the parting out of Church has become reality.

From now on, each time I pull away from the In-N-Out drive thru, with burger and fries safely tucked into the passenger seat and soda securely placed in the cup holder; I will gently tap twice on the window toggle, and think of dear Church, and how we all believed that one day he might actually launch right off the freeway, because of that big-azz fireballed wing of his.

I was touched by the thoughts of Church with each use of the windows.. and then laughed my butt off with the last line...

Too funny..

Day 2 of "de-modding"

M7 Strut Tower Brace was removed and installed on a club members car :(

I wonder if calling 866-ASK-MINI I can get hold of a support counselor for these times of sadness. /sniffle

The good news is there was a JCW Body kitted 07 DS/B there for me to admire and obsess over
