I just checked the tracking site and it still shows the EMDEN at 46 long and 38 lat......as of 6am today's date. Are you talking about the Integrity? We're a day or 2 behind you on the EMDEN. i was also wondering about this. it's due in to Baltimore the day after NY (today) and then takes 3 more to get the Chas? let's just hope they are putting in extra time into the schedule to keep it safe.

i'm calling my MA today about some other things. will let you know if i hear anything different.

Darn....our MA said the 27th for the EMDEN. Oh well, I'm just glad it's getting closer every day. Now, if there will be a car carrier waiting we're good!!! I'd hate her to sit another several days waiting for a truck!!!

 

has anyone heard how long it takes the VDC to add sport stripes? I'm hoping it doesn't get put in a line and I have to wait another week or so before it gets sent out...

 

Nope. Getting our stripes done on our own. Have a great vinyl guy local.

Blue....this is where we are as of this am.......scan out until you see where the East coast is.......looks like 2-3 days. Our MA said Fri but the earlier posting said the port says Sat. Aren't ya glad we got out before the floods in Oxford?????? The girls must be exhausted by now!!!

When I heard about the floods--I said thank goodness my MINI was already on a ship! I would hurt knowing that they were getting soaked--and not in a good way!

 

I'm thinking the factory would be okay but transporting to dock would be really tricky. I lived in the Oxford area for 3 years in the early 80s and it is really hard for me to imagine that much water there. Only a few days more for you........probably a week or more for me.

 

Speaking of...I need to call my MA and get financing running...

 

Yeah, unfortunately we have to pay for them. Worth every penny though. I just LOVE my little car and will love this one too.

 

No trouble. AIS Live seems to have trouble tracking in the Chesapeake. I dont know if the INTEGRITY is still in Baltimore or back out of the Bay. Was due to depart today but cant find it. Furthermore, AIS Live doesnt seem to map the Chas harbor either. So we are blind for a couple of days.

My MA said Friday. They actually transport all the MINIs up to the VDC site in Greer, SC where the BMW factory is. That is where all the Bimmers come as well. Stripe installation? I think that occurs at your dealer. Mine said they had a stripe guy anyway. Dont know exactly but it seems like they should install those at the dealer. The cars actually have to go thru 6 hrs of programming when they get to the dealer as well.

well the integrity is now left baltimore and is on it's way to charleston, sc.

 

Port of Charleston shows the EMDEN arriving on Sat the 28th and the INTEGRITY on Sun the 29th. YAY!!!!!!

 

No way is it going to take the INTEGRITY 5 days to get to Chas. The port of Chas site has been static for some time. At least, I hope I am right.

UPDATE: I WAS RIGHT! The Port of Chas site just updated. Looks like we BOTH arrive on Fri the 27th! Makes sense. Arrive at the same time, load them all up and take 'em to the VDC together to get them all done.

My MA said Fri and the car at the dealer and ready by Monday/Tues of next week! Keeping my fingers crossed.

 

Confirmation--the little Egg is due in Charleston on Friday--and my schedule for next week just got JAM packed--class from 9-4 (M-F) and working wed night, fri night, and all day sat...sometimes I love my life!

 

OK, so Aonach, you're saying that your MINI might be ready on Tuesday the 31st? Can they really get the cars through the VPC and to your dealership in 5 days? Where are you located ... generally?

VDC by tomorrow, I wonder how long to the dealership in Kansas City... I just drove from Baltimore to Kansas City in 17 hours, and I had to gas up every 275 miles, an over-the-road truck can make it 1,500 miles, so they should be here Saturday!!! <.< >.>

That's probably not likely, so I'm hoping it arrives at the dealership by the 6th or so.
